I assess before I treat, measure what I change, and give every patient a programme they can carry out without me. Hands-on work earns trust; the measurements prove the progress.
What the training was built on
Standardised assessment — FIM, Berg Balance Scale, Timed Up and Go, GMFCS and GMFM — with ICF-based goal setting, individualised treatment planning, and outcomes re-measured at every stage through to discharge. The measurement is not paperwork; it is how the plan gets corrected while the patient is still in front of you.
Clinical training
Five settings, two university hospitals, one Olympic unit
Supervised clinical practice across neurology, traumatology and orthopaedics, sports medicine, cardiology and intensive care, and paediatrics — in Latvia's two university hospitals, its leading rehabilitation centres, and the Latvian Olympic Unit.
